Something I can't do without, Fashion Post.

I got this idea from Texican. You're suppose to show a pic of your favorite article of clothing you feel you can't do without. I'm not really into clothes right now, but Purses and wallets are as much a part of me as any article of clothing!

Here is a condensed version of what I own, since I just gave a bag of purses away.



Hmm, looking at this picture, I have too many black purses, I think I need to go shopping! I really want a Dooney & Bourke purse to add to my collection. Anyone have around $350 they can lend me?

That's quite a collection, and there are a few black purses, but you wear a lot of black so it makes perfect sense. I might do this one tomorrow:)

They use to have those illegal purse parties where you could get the fake purses. I think the police have been cracking down on them though, because I haven't seen or heard of any for almost a year.

Ok, you're on for New York. Of course I now need to come up with some money, haha.

Have you ever heard of the website called BagBorroworSteal.com? They "rent" name brand designer purses...

Middle daughter found a flea market in the Philly area and bought a couple of Coach bags (they look real) for like $20 a piece.

I've never been into big label purses or clothing for that matter. I just look online and shake my head at the prices! lol

Nice collection you have there, Laurie, but I have to say (in defense of myself as well) there is no such thing as too many black purses. You're just trying to make sure they all have a happy home. :D

Oh this is cool. Love the purses, never can have too many black. I could have a nice collection, but it seems someone in the family always wants to borrow, and they never seem to make their way back home. haha ! I have to say I love the very first one in row there. My purses are bright in colors, Back in the day, all were brown or black. What a great idea. Oh and I love Wil's hats too =) I may have to do this, (if it lets me post, ha ! )

itsmylife---Prices are outrageous for name brand purses. I only have one "real" name brand purse I happen to get on sale. All the others are fake, but that's ok, they look real!

I haven't got that many bags laurie, you have nice collections. I like black purse and black handbag because it is suite with anything you wear. I haven't bought a purse since 2005 and I am still used the old one. I have black hat I wear for bootscooting classes.

But I bet if a dug around in some of the boxes going to the Good Will...I could come up with a few more. I just decided to get rid of a bunch of shoes and purses because they were taking up to much space in my closet.

drdog: I have a thing for caps...and watches. I have a bunch of watches ranging from a Mickey Mouse watch to a pretty snazzy Gucci number.

However, it's the caps that really get me. I just did a post on my little collection.

You won't believe this, but I have only one purse. Well actually two, but they are identical. LOL I like this one brand and kind, had thought about getting it in several different colors, but that would mean I would have to switch my stuff from one purse to another and that's too much work and bother. LOL In fact if I have a shirt with a pocket, a lot of time, I put my driver's license into the pocket along with some money in my jeans pocket, and that's how I leave the house. I never did care for a purse, espeically large ones and then when I started having elbow problems, I gave them up and went to this small shoulder purse, you hardly know you have it on.

Yep Laurie-doo....I've said it before and I'll say it again; you're all girl! Wife # 1 was also a purse fanatic and I just couldn't keep up. To me a purse is a purse is a purse. I know, I know...I'm just a dumb 'ole guy, what do I know right??

Kinda reminds me of Imelda Marcos and her 3,000 pair of shoes!
